Face the Truth Workshop

A 3-hour facilitated session where your team experiences the gap between leadership intentions and how those intentions actually land. Participants leave with a diagnostic tool they’ve practiced and a rhythm for using it.

What Your Team Experiences

Three hours. Your team practices a diagnostic tool twice and leaves with a rhythm for continuing on their own.

The Frame. The leadership practices that built your career were calibrated to conditions that have since changed. Organizational research consistently finds a significant gap between how self-aware leaders believe they are and how self-aware they actually are. That gap isn’t a failure. It’s a signal that the environment shifted.

This opening creates the context for honest conversation. Your team names one mentored practice that produces a different result today than it did five years ago. The room exhales. The real work begins.

Face the Truth. Participants learn a single diagnostic question and practice it twice with different partners. The experience is immediate. You hear how your intentions land from someone sitting across from you, and you practice receiving that information without defending it.

Tables then identify organizational habits that accidentally teach the opposite of what the organization intends. Patterns emerge across the room.

Land the Rhythm. Diagnostic tools only work if they attach to something already happening. Each participant converts their experience into a when-then commitment tied to a moment already on their calendar. No public declarations. No accountability partners. Just a private rhythm written on the one-page tool they take with them.

What They Leave With

Every participant walks out with a one-page tool containing three things: the exact diagnostic question they practiced, the receiving practice that makes it work, and their personal when-then rhythm tied to a calendar moment they already own.

The practices are teachable. The question is shareable. The discipline spreads through your organization without a program to manage.

What the Engagement Looks Like

Every workshop starts with a planning conversation. We scope the examples, scenarios, and table exercises to your organization’s situation. That conversation is also where we determine whether this format fits or whether a different engagement makes more sense.

The Face the Truth Workshop is typically $3,500 to $5,000 for teams of up to 25 participants, depending on team size and customization scope. That includes the planning conversation, a pre-workshop survey that helps participants begin noticing where conditions have shifted, facilitation, participant materials, and access to a post-workshop reflection tool. Travel expenses additional for sessions outside Tampa Bay.

This engagement falls under most government discretionary procurement thresholds. After our planning conversation, you’ll receive a scope document and timeline for your session.

Other Ways to Work Together

The Face the Truth Workshop is one entry point into the methodology. Where your team goes from here depends on what surfaces in the room.

The Blind Spot Check is the individual version of this work. A free AI diagnostic on this website that surfaces the same gap between intentions and impact, privately and in about five minutes.

The Leadership Team Workshop goes deeper. A comprehensive session for leadership teams ready to work on systems design and implementation, not just diagnosis.

Executive Coaching applies the methodology one-on-one over time, for leaders navigating transitions or persistent patterns that a single session can’t resolve.
