Top 5 Movies of All Time
A Few Thoughts on The Lists
The diversity of the selections was amazing and points towards everyone listing personal favorites. For those of us on the call, we had a great discussion regarding these selections, which was better than if we were trying to figure out how a movie critic would pick a Top 5 of all time.
A few selections came up twice (4 by my count): Jaws, Life is Beautiful, Shawshank Redemption and Remember the Titans. It appears Lee and Jocilyn have similar tastes as 2 of their selections were the same. Robbie matched with 2 of her selections as well. Neither Jill or Angelia were present, since they each had unique lists, it would have been great to hear how they came up with their lists.

What stands out the most upon reflection is that Micah found a way to list 5 different movies that are ALL ONLY ONE WORD! I know everyone reading this just scrolled back up to Micah’s list and then went to check and see how many other one word movies are in the lists. I counted only 9 others… well played Mr. Maxwell, well played.
We also watched clips of a scene we each picked…decided not to include links here as some may have contained explicit material (if you see some of the movies on the list, you can picture which ones. In all, though, this was a great exercise and we got to know each other a little bit better.
A Unique Virtual Happy Hour Experience
This is the first Virtual Happy Hour where we had a specific theme and spent the entire time with a specific event. Outside a few technical glitches on my part, sorry guys and gals, I thought it was great! Many thanks to Jocilyn for taking notes on the lists and Lee for queuing up a few movie clips.
Next Virtual Happy Hour will be around Music – Virtual Happy Hour – City Managers, County Administrators and Aspiring Managers – What is the song that should play when you enter a room.
