Think Tank Member Passes Away – Bob Hart Mourned by Peer Group
For the first time a City Manager and County Administrator Think Tank group had to mourn the passing of a member last Friday. It was with sadness our first Friday of the month Think Tank group remembered Bob Hart, the City Manager of Corinth, Texas, during our regularly scheduled meeting Friday, May 6.
Bob participated since the very first meeting of this group and was a faithful participant bringing issues for us to discuss and insightful questions and recommendations to other items. He was always eager to learn and gain insight from others, a remarkable trait from someone with the extensive experience he had.
Bob was always the first person to join our Zoom call, providing me with an opportunity to speak to him briefly one on one every month. I will miss those moments and his presence in our group. We did not know his family or his work family, but he was a cherished member of our small community.
The Think Tank community Bob belonged to decided to collectively take donations for Rotary International, one of the non-profit or mission organization the family asking for donations to be made to in lieu of flowers. The Bob Hart Memorial Fund is available to anyone that would like to also contribute to Rotary International in Bob’s name.
We will miss Bob. To keep his memory going I will continue to post updates on donations collected and distributed to Rotary International in the name of Bob Hart. Thank you to everyone in this group for participating and to the greater City Manager and County Administrator community for supporting this cause.
