Imagine That Performance, a growing consulting company focused on local government leadership, executed an agreement with the Town of Kenneth City to provide an Interim Town Manager along with a Leadership Transition Team to stabilize leadership after the previous Town Manager tendered his resignation.
Rob Duncan sworn in as Interim Town Manager
The agreement, executed on June 8, 2022, features Rob Duncan, Managing Director of Imagine That Performance, serving as the Interim Town Manager. “We are excited to provide the Town of Kenneth City with the transitional leadership needed, with the immediate team focus on the budget process” said Mr. Duncan. “We recognize the importance of freeing the Town Council from the burdens of day to day operations so they can focus on budget and policy decisions.”
Beyond Interim Town Manager day to day services, the agreement for municipal and management services also provides a complete Leadership Transition Team to Kenneth City. Team members were assigned tasks that continued the preservation of the public’s health, safety and welfare, including but not limited to:
- Securing Accounting, Code Enforcement and Legal solutions to overcome recent departures
- Comprehensive Revenue Analysis to understand available sources of income for the Town
- Additional professional services solution identification for Building/Permitting, Engineering and Information Technology among other deferred procurement needs
- Annual budget preparation and compliance
- Provide an Interim Town Clerk
Members of the Leadership Transition Team are:
- J.P. Murphy, former Town Manager for Belleair, Florida
- Lisa Hendrickson, former Florida human resource director and Assistant City Manager for Pinellas Park, Florida
- Jocilyn Martinez, former Assistant Town Manager for Port Richey, Florida
- Michelle Lee Berger, former Town Manager for Sewall’s Point, Florida and three term elected official for Port St. Lucie, Florida
The Town Council believed time was of the essence to ensure that the essential executive level functions were diligently discharged. “We are fortunate to have a professional team able to come in and assist Kenneth City right away” said Mayor Robert Howell. “We have important decisions to make as a Town Council and this team will provide the information necessary to help us make the best decisions for our community.”
