Alan Rosen Chosen to be Lake County Manager
On December 22, 2020, the Lake County Commission unanimously approved a contract with Alan Rosen, the Interim City Manager of Port Orange, to replace retiring County Manager Jeff Cole.
During public interview on December 8th, Rosen impressed the Lake County Commission with his experience in government in Florida, his management style and his view of the big picture.
The close proximity allowed me to attend the public interviews in person and I was very impressed with both candidates. The detailed examples and preparation put forth by Alan was clearly a game changer in the eyes of the Commission. Alan has told me that he learned from watching other City Manager and County Administrator public interviews, so I am sharing his interview here for others to be able to easily find and potentially learn from.
